We all know and they also know that its a useless gimmick
But hey what's wrong with that: wireless charger will they have already, they chose to give a small something extra why not.
And if you see the s8 and the s9
The s9 was Samsung least innovative phones
Samsung though apple hitting records over and over with the same phones with a ridiculous price so why not try that.......; still giving more value fr the money anyway's
It went horribly wrong
And now Huwawei threating to be the no.1, they are aware and we will now get better phones.
And also xiaomi rising and rising till they take a big % of Samsung costumer this are scenarios they want to avoid!!

it's much better if they add infrared camera with uv light on it than that reverse wireless charging.

Of course Samsung copied Huawei's idea. Of course Huawei has done the exact same thing. Of course they've both copied Apple, and of course Apple has copied stuff from many Android phones. Get used to it! That's how the industry works! Stop complaining like it's a legitimate fandom!
They'll keep reworking tech from other phones, and that's how the tech gets better. That's just how technology works, and if it's between corporations today that's the flavour of the decade. Go read about the Cold War or something...

I know, we really all do need to be a bit more careful with radiation. Paranoia is a step to far lol
When you're driving/walking/whatever, keep your phone away from your body or in airplane mode. And use headphones when making a call. Boom, you've done the main things

The main purpose is to charge wireless radio waves at and through your head (delicate brain - as it's the most important part of your body) while you're listening to music while a 2nd version will be charging the headphone batteries essentially dousing you double with cancerous waves similar to x-rays.
Killing people slowly(now with 2x speed), blindly and getting their money.

Thank Huawei for inventing it and thank Samsung for bringing that tech to the masses since only a niche amount of people know Huawei and everyone knows Samsung. It's so nice that Samsung people get to try out Reverse Wireless Charging.

God the idiotic 'copy' comments.
Are you guys really that dense? Do you guys work for any of the companies? How do you know which of them came up with the tech first? Just because they didn't announce it publicly doesn't mean one company copied the other.
One company might have started working on it and other might have just finished before them.

It does not matter if you just use it to charge small things, the problem is that you need to leave your phone and whatever you want to charge on a surface for a long, long time, or use adhesive tape.

Not merely slow, wireless charging is also very inefficient. So you will deplete your battery by a lot more than you charge the other one.
So in reality this is a gimmick that serves no purpose beyond marketing.
