Fail book , still can’t believe people use this.. if someone was smart enough they would start a website called friends book and say data is safer and more secure than Facebook and then hopefully Facebook would fold and lose its complete value.

LOL,here American are banning huwaie for data leak

Hahahaaaaaa another story about FaceBook. I hope this time people lost some of their really private pictures and learned out of it, that FaceBook and all other FaceBook related apps are not secure. Whatssapp, Instagram, etc. just remove your account, delete all saved data from their servers and never use any FaceBook related app again before you lose more important stuff.

I'm often used Facebook more than IG, but this thing is so much disturbing.

I guess if you are worried, concerned, afraid, etc. about others possibly seeing photos you own, then that is a problem. Otherwise this is just a reputational impact to FB.

Shaun, 15 Dec 2018I deleted my Facebook and Instagram account two weeks ago, ... moreSounds like a personal problem.

There's also these things called web browsers that allow you to surf places on the net called websites.

Not sure who are the smartasses that started this app for everything crap.

Shaun, 15 Dec 2018I deleted my Facebook and Instagram account two weeks ago, ... moreYou believe that Facebook will deleted your account?
:-) I'm going to guess that they just mark your account as inactive, and you're never the wiser.

Always create false email, personal details for online activities & use VPN to minimize your expose to your ISP.

It's not a "bug" ... I read about the current court fight in California where Facebook create 'hidden' API for different clients. So this is maybe just tactic, for them to legally get away with the crime when investigators are getting close to discovery. "Oh look, it's bug."
It's also possible for these hidden API to be created & destroyed[as bug] as a way for them to give 'short term' features requested by developers.

It will be only mark... moreWe do have rights to privacy in my country, quite strict as a matter of fact, I understand that you may want to share a specific post to a certain group or person, but you limit these to the people that actually knows you and is within your circle, what I am trying to say is that people who would have had access to these kind of things usually do not care about these stuff, remember we are only 1 in a million.

I believe that everything you post online is public even if you put it under a secure website and set it under private settings, I don't see why people are paranoid about his, the ad system works in my favor anyways, If I am browsing something I like or need I usually get ads about this and I get a wider selection. You don't have anything to hide why be scared?
