New Facebook data leak allowed apps broader access to 6.8 million users' photos

A bug in its photo API affected people who used Facebook Login and granted third-party apps permission to access their pictures.

Meanwhile America is making a fuss about huawei spying them without any proof.

Glad I'm not using Facebook anymore. I just hate it that I can't get rid the app completely from my samsung phone. I can only deactivate it.

      Search for permanent delete facebook account
      Then by opening the proper link in the answers you can delete your account permanently.

        That's the reason, I handle all my social media on Windows 10 desktop using Firefox browser with all add-ons installed. I have not installed any of these apps on my android phone. Google don't know any details of my social media accounts. So far, all these social media platforms were hacked or leaked via Android apps only.

                    Hahahaha.. and people still will use Facebook and wont care if their data are being sold and used inappropriately! These kind of companies exist to trick and lie to people, they should just go bankrupt and die.

                      I doubt it is bug or leak. They most probably sell the data and when get caught, tells us it is a bug.
