Sprint and T-Mobile parent companies to drop Huawei to appease regulators

    companies like Samsung design the displays, give BOE the specs and get them to make it as they have the manufacturing to actually make them.

    BOE do not design the lcd's.

    also the company who designs them will also patent them to stop them being stolen, and stop BOE making them for other OEM's.

    This happened back in the day with high def mics that Nokia created and got a 3rd party to make.
    This 3rd party ended up selling to HTC and got dragged through court and lost big time.

      Are you guys still not understanding what's going on?
      They US didn't ban all of Huawei, they prohibited government employee's from using that brand. The networking components are what is being blacklisted country wide.
      Has nothing to do with Apple vs Huawei, I don't like either brand so this is just funny to me.

              If anything this will hit China harder and could lead to there smartphones been blocked from other markets so to put it bluntly the USA would have the rest of the world China would just have itself..
              granted China is huge but compared to making profit and selling to the rich. There is more globally than in China alone. Soo
              I’m just waiting for Chinese smartphones to get blocked by the EU. =)

                        I guess i will have to not buy any Huawei products ever again.
                        Oh damn, that means i will have to stop buying all technology as every single one of them spy on you.Apple, Samsung (ect.) Fact!

                          US actually spend a lot of time on spying and monitoring, that's why they worry about 5G from China. This is reasonable and fair.

The displays Huawei and Samsung use for their current punch-hole phones come from BOE, a third party company. BOE has the right to sell the displays to anyone they want! Just because Samsung did a presentation does not make them the inventor. BOE is!

If the screen is coming from a third party, then there's no such thing as hijacking anybody or anything.
                                  Last time I read( from this site or other), the screen is coming from a company name BOE or something.

                                    I'm still unhappy that because Huawei is becoming a threat to the sales of Apple,the West wants to take them down. Then I realised Huawei is an IP theif!. If you really want to do business, don't start stealing people's hard earned ideas to promote yours. Samsung stayed off the notch to research on infinity O then Huawei quickly highjacked it into a cheaper shti! and forced Samsung to quickly release a cheaper one to be the first. Huawei should be banned from the world.
