Who would mind paying €35 more for better camera, imo those looking to buy it better wait for Honor View 20 it might be better than this

The Nova 4 page has been updated, the price is now 500 EUR, a bit more than in the presentation article (434EUR). I hate the fancy cameras that drive the price up, I would have liked a 12mpx simple but very good camera, like the Poco or Pixel. At least it has SD and not Nano card.
I pray for the View20 to have a regular SD slot, it would be better for me (bigger battery), maybe the rumored specs are wrong, it's a high possibility on this site.

Woah, that's cheap. Sure, the KIRIN 970 may be a year old, but that doesn't mean that it can't compete; it's still a beast. This is most probably one of the reasons why it's quite cheap, because of the lower production cost for the chipset as compared to last year. One thing that has yet to be mentioned here is the expandable storage, but I predict it will be using the usual micro SD card slot, they couldn't possibly have a NM card slot here after a few months from the HUAWEI MATE 20 series. Hope this smartphone does well

there is a chin at the bottom which is of no use at all, but why..?? It should have been used for a front camera and a front firing speaker.... and most of all a fingerprint scanner could have been put in the middle as well.... that's acre of space

I hope the lower model doesn't have the disaster 20mpx camera from the Mate 20 Lite and Honor 8X which is worse than cameras from 5 years ago.
Where's the other specs? I have so many questions. You have a 250EUR price in the model page and other specs are missing, why did you link to an out of date page?

Please pixel, do not adopt this design/trend and redefine the size of a display hole like you did with notches. Or please, adopt this design cause I can't afford you anyway but at least you'll deliver some cheap entertainment :D

Does it have the new nano-SD slot that nobody uses yet? If it does, it's a deal breaker for me. The screen is larger, but the battery is the same. Honor V20 is rumored to have 3900-4000mAh, but it will have the nano-SD slot and I already have a 256GB Samsung SDXC, so it's incompatible. I love that they shortened the phone a bit, 2310 vertical pixels instead of 2340. If it won't get a minumum of 12 browsing hours in the test review, I won't buy it.

The bottom chin is occupied by screen connectors, that's why they can't even get rid of that chin. Though I agree that this one is stupid, cutting holes into displays, even notches were better than this ugly distracting hole in the corner -_-

This is NOT an "in-display" camera! This is an "in display-cutout" camera. Just another type of notch.
True "in-display" cameras will be hidden under the screen when not used. Think of it as an item behind a transparent glass screen. When the screen is off, you can clearly see the items behind it. When the screen is on, you can barely see anything that's behind it.

Wait for View 20, way better than this. I dont understand why launching two identical phones almost at the same time.
Nova series should wait on every July launch, as previously done. Honor View series launching are spot on, right after the Huawei Mates arrives.

It looks prettier th... moreJust saying the hole size on Samsung A8s is 6.7mm but on nova 4 is only 4.5mm so if you think bigger front camera hole is more beautiful than yeah A8s won, btw nova 4 have a headphone jack but A8s doesn’t , my personal opinion on this phone I am not impressed no in display fingerprint scanner no 7nm chip. the next honor view 20 will have all of those features so I will just wait
