Mediatek is not good.
But, then again Redmi 6a and Redmi 6 use MtK, so who knows..

    I absolutely don't need huge battery or high performing CPU. From the specs I only care for the size.And this one looks relatively acceptable. I am still wondering should I buy mi8se or to wait for Redmi 7.

They should instead make way to the new SDM632, with not-that-impressive A73-equivalent Kryo 250 Gold cores and A53-equivalent Kryo 250 Silver, all clocked at 1.8GHz. The GPU is not worlds stronger than the feeble dual-core Mali inside the P30, but the CPU cores are a welcomed upgrade than a pure A53 octa setup on 2019

          Redmi 6 Pro's successor would be the upcoming Redmi 7 Pro, possibly with SD675 or SD710

            in my country Redmi 6 and 6 pro just released this week :( i think in 2 weeks they'll release Redmi 8 and 8 pro with camera hole in the screen

              So according to clock speed mentioned here, it has to be the Mediatek Helio P30. Not that great though!

                        I like the size of this one and the other specs mentionned. If it has at least SD660 I'm gonna choose between this and the futur Sony XA3

                            Good to see full HD display. Please have 4000mah battery and I think it long overdue for a USB type c redmi phone.
