                      - my parents worked at a smallish business (500ppl) which existed for 100 years
                      - the firm is sold
                      - the new chairman comes in and takes 2 million out of the company

Xperia all the way, 19 Dec 2018And look how pixels turned out. hTC should die, then only ... moreI think the Pixel 2 XL as well as the Pixel 3 look pretty good. I like their simplistic design and it kind of fits their Pixel launcher.

Ugh. This is sad news for companies like BLU. I really loved my Blu Pure XL which was a Gionee. The charging port failed after 3 years just like so many of Gionees phones but what do you do, I was hoping they might have improved with the rollout of USB C ports but I guess that future will never happen.

Kiyasuriin, 19 Dec 2018Gionee. a chinese smartphone company. He can't help that he really don't know crap about the global phone industry. Most people can only name Apple and Samsung.

Just 1 word I have to say about this: oof

Gio who you say? It's that one Gio which supplied a lot of OEM stuff to various rebadgers all over the world. Allview comes to mind, or some Russian brands.
