Like seriously, they don't even have their own branded TVS and Laptops!!! So should they not use laptops, TVs in their office? Doing MKBHD here is cool, but blindly doing it at something where it is irrelevant, well that's not cool, it's actually stupid!

The author of this article is naive, this leak is a deliberate one done by the highest executives at Oneplus. This is done to generate hype for the next Oneplus. No one is getting fired here and certainly no one is that foolish to be risking defying NDA when that meeting had so few attendees and everyone knows who attended and sat where.
