Far from it. And video call? Lol. Ask around anyone who's ever used their smartphone to video call someone. Exactly, barely anyone. The day Nokia launched Android is the day Nokia dies (or bought by Google, which is highly unlikely).

If some one asks me about lumia 800 I would says its a JOKE by nokia given the new tiled interface Nd some other features which is causing all the craze its just like boiling liqiud, comes down as fast it rises. Why iam I saying this c'mon comparing with other android devices and iphone what kind of substandard hardware single processor (sgs2 1.2gb note has 1.4 gb processor) and lumia has 512 ram (sgs2 whixh came earlier had 1gb ram)if nokia wants to compete it shd atleast see wat the competitors hav to offer. adding to insult theres no front cam atleast a vga but nooo.
Nokia is playing its old tricks where in if u got good memory there is no ram . If theres a,good ram no cam.
Similarly the cam it provides is substandard in par with competition just 5mp. The previous model n8 had 12mp which gave hope to consumers that its next model will brake all barriers but nokia didnt even care to look back at its own creation even though it was a symbiam it did do a decent job.
But still I wud say googles android is way ahead of win 7 mango.
Of course iphone has it own nische but all that restictions wantz to make u to throw ur phone or jail break it. Word for thought for those who say android is comple to use and nokia is easy, plz buy a nokia 2100 coz u wont be using the other functions of a smartphone any way(bsides texting calling taking pics Nd listening to music)
Ultimate conclusion nokia should launch N android phone soon to live in the market.
If u r hellbent on buying a windows pho.e from nokia just wait untill harware specs Re improved.
This is just a test model where it Iz testing how ppl tak it.

Im an android user, and tested the Nokia out in the shops. Its a nice phone, i like it but i will stick to android because of open source.
If i could'nt have android then i would choose W7 phone over IOS anyday.

I'm happy to see this stat.
Nokia's been under a lot of pressure and I'm sure the folks behind the 800's design (you DO know Elop's not the only person working on the L800, right?) are pretty happy as well.
I'd actually buy this phone if I could afford it. :(

Keeping fingers crossed - Nokia can be a good company again and competition is good for innovation and us - the users. I have an Android but think this phone is quite good.

isn't there some kind of law that says that a company which has made millions of faulty products, and hundreds of thousands in a series, will get banned from ever producing and selling the same rebranded crap ??

I have used the Lumia 800...Brilliant phone, no issues, best build quality and i did own an iPhone 4, beats crApple hands down.
I cant see the obsession with Apple (Or any phone for that matter) i work in telco and the amount of Apple fan boys drive me nuts...all have the same i havent been laid in years look slapped across their one eyed face!

or lower cash out if you will be getting a higher memory of the phone.
so just shut up!
if they will get that for free!
they still pay for their bills monthly and if you will compute that . that would double the original price.
maybe you can't get a postpaid plan or you don't know something about it.
those network provider give the privilege to their subscriber to get the phone they want in a cheaper price.

Nokia Lumi 8000 "outsells"... morenokia sucks because it is cheaper than 4s? of course lumia is cheaper, it has lower specs and as we all know iphones are expensive as hell... if you are doing it this way than compare 4s to X1-00 by saying that X1-00 is total piece of crap because whole phone costs less than what you have to pay for 4s every month on 2 year contract... in what universe do you live if you dont like that the phone is sold cheaper? i guess in one of those two mistic ones: iOS-fan-boys-universe and android-... yeah, you get it
