Mmmmm you get the Nokia for free if you take a 2 years contract at Kpn if you take an Iphoneon that contract you have too pay for the phone. Its hard these days too get a phone for free at a normal amount for your subsribtion. So people choose a cheaper phone.

What a funny article!
Nokia Lumi 8000 "outsells" iPhone 4s? Can you really use word sell when you give something away?
So let's take a closer look at this situation.
1. KPN gives Lunia 800 away! Not sells it! The device itself is FREE!! like in 0 €. With 2 years contract - more about it later. At the same time for iPhone 4S 16 Gb same KPN wants 179,95€ with 2 years contract. Funny how this simple fact is missed in th article.
2. said 2 years contract for Nokia Lumi 8000 is also discounted 50%!! So you pay (again for contract) only 18,75€ per month instead of regular fee of 37,5€ per month. For iPhone 4S bundeled contracts KPN gives NO discount! Surprise surprise. Same contract that will cost you 45€ per month with iPhone 4s 16Gb would constant you with Nokia Lumi 800 only 22,5€
So there you have it the truth about NOKIA Lumi 8000 success!
Operators not only need to give them away for FREE they also have to give discounts for the contracts only to move it! I woulnder who actaully pays for this party? Obviously not NOKIA fans... But rather NOKIA shareholders... So all Nokia FAN Boys and Girls - put you money where you moth is - go and pay for the said phone same amount iPhone costs. And do you sales comparisons/charts then...

This phone is amazing, have been using it for a month, works like a charm, doesn't hand or slow down ever.

I find this i quite good phone, slightly overpriced but its pretty good
In the netherlands nobody really cares what pone they have aslong it has wifi can play music and such. Most people buy blackberry just for BBM wich i find kind of annoying
If you are interrested everyone calls you a nerd so.
i prefer nerd and awesome phone and go for android :)

If you mean better specs = better phone then don't bother with the OS or even brand.
RAZR and SE Arc S have better specs than Nokia's but Nokia is the better seller...
Does this mean that moto and se phones are not good phones?

Its amazing that when reality doesn't agree with you, you can just pay a 'journalist' to publish a work of fiction to support whatever you claims are. That, Unfortunately, is what nokia is doing. The harsh reality is that Nokia Lumia is not selling as well as they hoped, and so they have been hard at work to try the convince the public the opposite. Unfortunately for Nokia, everyone in the world already knows this.

now @lumia 800:i think there's something wrong with screen...oohh it's low res and small one...and where's that full hd video? oohh i forgot it doesn't have dual core cpu...
and yes,i was using wp os,but it's so boring :(

The electronics technology is moving very much ahead of Lumia's world.
by Q2 2012, many quad core handsets with bigger and 90%smarter display screen,... htc zeta, samsung galaxy s3, asus padfone, meizu mx .etc etc.are already on the ways.

Go Nokia! Changed my 1,5y old Galaxy to Lumia and must say this phone and WP7 rocks! Android feels outdated after using WP.

If what Apple is doing is alright, then Nokia is not doing 2% of the same thing.
And BTW:
Tell me one thing in which the Lumia is not upto the market specs....
what you guys do, is think of some over-powered Samsung crap and talk gibberish...
Tell me which application is providing support for Dual Core CPUs....name me some..then you can talk about the same ol' shit....
Android Gingerbread doesn't support dual core.....
