However, Qualcomm must license them on FRAND basis. But of course Qualcomm doesn't play by this rule - e.g., you must buy their chips in order to get the license.
There is also allegation of double dipping.

Lol, if i were qualcomm i wouldn't sell my chips to them. If i wasn't allowed to do that i would overprice them. Ungratefull, LG is having a hard time keeping up in the market but it's no reason to ask a ransom to qualcomm.

Indonesian people only buy phones for the brand. Even the Note 9 (512 GB) is cheaper than the iPhone XS (64 GB). It's only 1.035 USD

I wish I could pay the same americans pay.
The iPhone X 256GB came here last year for equivalent to 2200 dollars.
The new iPad Pro 11" 64Gb here costs more than twice the price charged in USA.
Iphone Xr 64Gb here costs same of Note 9 128GB and 40% more than XZ2.

LG should just stop wasting money on lawsuits like this. Better for LG to actually spend that same money to improve its horrible software update support so ALL its international model flagship variants get even just a single android software update - - - which it is clearly not providing to all unlocked variants. Not all V20 H990DS variants received the super delayed Oreo update. Some are actually still on Nougat 7.0nupbto now (the software they were launched with in 2016), more than two years after their release with super outdated security patch of January 2018! LG, know your priorities or you'll be as extinct as the dinosaurs a few years from now.
