[deleted post]Why don't you keep poking your flawed device with annoying, laggy behaviour due to fundamental differences in the way Android handles screen rendering, an issue that has existed since Android changed from being keyboard and trackball operated system before the iPhone was launched, to a touchscreen based system after the iPhone was launched.
The only way it will stop is with a full rewrite of Android, no matter how much manufacturers try to hide these inherent flaws, by throwing excessive battery draining amounts of RAM and overclocked processors at them, there are points when the screen lags and touches don't respond properly.
Apple understood this with touch screens in mind from the ground up, Microsoft understood this with a total rewrite of WinMo, Blackberry understood this with a total rewrite.
Until Google addresses it Android will always remain second rate.

Actually, i disagree with the opinion that iOS is any better or simpler to use than Android. I have used iPad (im guessing its similar to iOS in iPhone) and its... Well i was disapointed, its not easier to use, its just poor with options. iOS takes care of some mundane tasks for u, but it just confuses me... Its like an overly protective and servative buttler, its caring too much. Unlike the buttler, it chrashes and screenfreezes often, cant connect via bluetooth properly and so on... In my opinion Android>iOS, got xperia pro, fabulous phone for 1/2 of the money of the iPhone 4, and i dont think iPhone is any better, except the build quality ofcourse.

Developers follow the money and that's iOS.
Why would they want to work for free for the cheapskates who use Android, speaking of which, I wish those lazy slaves over at XDA would hurry up with some ROMs for my Cha Cha.

Here is the place dominated by Apple's products users. Every news of Android, there will be plenty of negative thought. It turns 180 degree at phone arena.

Both iOS and Android crash a lot. But at least on my gingerbread it gave me notification about what made your gadget crash so I could fix or reboot it. While on iOS, when it crashed, you just waited with a blank page with apple's logo and just starred at it without knowing what's going on with your gadget. But I agree with Ely577 that iOS and Androids are on different league.

Android is far from a Perfect OS and So is Apple's IOS. But with most Android powered handset costing half as much as Iphones with almost similar specs why buy an Iphone? Just make Apple Inc. Richer?

Eric, Eric...you and Giggle will never be anything more than second best. Always copying, always cheating. Instead of talking bollocks you'd better prepare for WP invasion. PS: By the way the new Lumia 800 is already ahead of Iphone 4S in Holland.

Of course Android is already on top of iPhone. Here is why: we are all different and with various needs; all iPhones are the same and have limited features; Android is feature rich and comes in a broad range of shapes an colors.

Google should make their OS as fluid as possible, without the use of high resources.
iOS and WP7 are running very smooth on phones with 1GHz single core processor, while Android lags.
WP7 also has multiple vendors, and keep gaining interest for its smooth and integrated OS. Some coding need to be done, in order to keep interest on Android.
ICS is smoother, but still lags more compared to iOS and WP7. Get working Google.

this guy's a clown.
google is about to face harsh reality in 2012 as people's contracts expire. Disappointed uses will start dumping it in favour of IOS and WP, at which point its market share will fall to around 20%

Android is like China, they copy and tries to out produce against industrial nations. Quality is lost.
Giving things away freely sure would allow their marketshare to increase but this does not increase the amount Android users into Google customers.
Completely different than Apple because every iOS user is an Apple customer. While Android users are carrier customers and many have never paid a dime to Google's Market or services.

The user interface allows you to scroll from left to right and open an app, that's it. You can't view your calendar, music playlist,(agenda), weather, emails, or text messages on your home screen "
you can also scroll down from top and then you have all of those what you just said besides music playlist. you get them with only one swipe so it's very easy and fast.
i think the Ui is much cleaner when you don't have anything extra specially with so tiny screen. I used computers 15 years and never installed any widgets or extra stuff for my windows, it's also just app tray and i think many many use it only with that and it doesn't bother people. Same reason people like iOS Ui because it's clean and simple not messy like androids with all that stuff stuffed into homescreen.
