M a wave 525 user . its full of bugs as the phone lags and restart again n again wen ters some
multi taskin involved so was looking forward to fix it wit bada 2.0 now m disapointed like hell..felt betrayed wit fallsse promise. bada 2 for all waves phone....

My AUD199 e63 didn't get belle update(Australia) from Nokia and i knew this was coming before because E63 is relatively cheap one.
This news doesn't surprise anyway. It applies to all cheapo android phones as well.

Now i'm not a fan of any phone make, i use a dumbphone as it is. However you can see why people change brands when you have a situation like this. People get tired of the forever postponed updates and then they don't trust the company and are more likely to switch brand. Maybe Samsung have too many phones out there, they look as if they have the same phones with 3", 3.14", 3.5", 3.7", 4" phone screen with or without camera flash and with or without Wifi.
If they were to make fewer phones then maybe their focus would be more on customer support which is vital with any company. Still offer a choice but not as vast as the present 'flood' of phones.

Coz it was leaked way earlier on/abt 4th november that these 2 sets will be getting value packs n not full updates. Guys swearing here like me, own s8500 or s8530, i mean the flagships. And we r cursing sammy for delaying the updates. Remember, it had said 2.0 update in july. Then it bypassed 2.0 n said 2.01 in early q4 for these two sets, followed by others in late q4. We r in december now. Yet no trace.

I really hope Samsung read these comments because I live in Australia and I have the S8500 and am on Bada 1.0.I have emailed them about updates and they replied blaming the carriers not pushing them through.I can easily get unofficially but why should I.I hate to say this but Apple don't have this problem with their own OS and I understand Bada isn't anywhere near popular but maybe this is why.They are not customer friendly they just want your money and then forget you.Look at what happened to LG.They have lost a lot of market share because of this practice.Will Samsung be next?

its a big disappointment because in many occations samsung said that there will be a version bada2.0 for s533&s525 they cant keep their words this decsion will be the beginning of the end of bada.

it's really interesting that people are attacking to Samsung for this news! first of all these two model are very very cheap so u can't expect that they have desirable hardware for the update- and it's ridiculous that u all think of it as a weak support- cuz it's good enough to have a mid-rang but complete phone with such a price! if you don't like it go and buy Nokia or Sony/Ericson phones with their great OS and their UPDATES!!!! :)

I'm concerned the next news will say that there will be no Bada 2.0 for the rest of WQVGA devices.
It's always better not to say all bad news at once.
But I still hope that my 723 will get Bada 2.0

Once again guys from samsung let people with bad costumer support.... nothing we weren't already used to.
With Korean manufacturers is always the same story no matter if they are producing cars, phones or tv. Costumer supports is never that good.
If you think about it, it would be expectable from the start, after all they are nothing but budget manufacturers even when they try to act as high end manufacturers.
