Samsung Wave 525 and 533 won’t be updated to bada 2.0

07 December, 2011
To bring comfort, however, Samsung will release a Value pack, which will give some of the bada 2.0 feel.

I love this news. It's not that the mentioned Wave devices will not get the Bada 2.0 but because Samsung made a "Value Pack" for them. They know that people will be upset and so, they made a software for that. Of course, it is still better if it is the whole 2.0 but as long as there is a change, it is worth.

Samsung will end up as bad as LG and the way they fail to offer good customer support.

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2011I have never come across anything as elusive as bada 2.0.In... moreThis is your fault, as long as the firmware is not officially out why do you complain? What you have there is a beta firmware, beta contains bugs. So you're whining is childish.

I have never come across anything as elusive as bada 2.0.Incidentally the ever buggy Wave S8500 alarm clock made me miss an important appointment yesterday. Could this be symbolic? Does Samsung want the Wave and wavers by extension to remain in an endless slumber and stop the deafening whining about bada 2.0.All in all I still adore my wave,it is a multi-media powerhouse that does not slumber when shooting those awesome HD videos.

Samsung won't release a damn thing. This is what they due, they promise, only words not actions.
Should they be reminded of their promise of the Social Hub Premium availability to all the countries? This is what they advertised when they launched bada, that all the devices no matter what country will get at a certain point SHP. Then after a year, surprise! they said that they cannot offer this feature to all the countries, and by that don't understand that small countries are left behind..no no, big countries in Europe like Germany were out.
Why SHP is important? because it brings push notifications for social apps.
I am an owner of a Samsung Wave GT-S8500 with DBT firmware(Germany) and I was proud of it till this year..the proud is fading away like samsung promises.
