Walter C. Dornez, 30 Dec 2018*whistles* Man, PD sucksPD can go up to 100W, which is more than enough to power and charge a ThinkPad. But you know reality doesn't meet standards when talking about USB (how many USB 3.1 devices you own can go to 625MB/s on data transfer? That's right, none. The best I saw was 100MB/s for USB 3.1 Gen1 (3.0)

Walter C. Dornez, 29 Dec 2018Ah, so this ain't good for gaming laptops. Nah, it's not good for non-ultrabook laptops. Y'know those laptops sold at Costco? All except the base Surface Pro can't be powered with this. Those laptops go easily beyond 60W. Most are at 90W. That's the case for base ThinkPads notably. Gaming starts at 130W.

I agree with your point, they should've gone with a fast charger, like their UCH12, internationally and not some sort of "exclusive" for some countries, and also the price you're paying for too. But I'll take this over Apple's charger anyday, along with the inclusion of a 3.5 headphone jack dongle (*ahem" Apple ;)). Well I'm not that frustrated about it, as long as it charges I'm fine, and not like my mother's GALAXY S6 and GALAXY S8, where either the cable or the charger went doo doo after a year or so

I can’t brain how low a hater can be in term of intellect just to hate on something, it’s clearly say PD brick, not a Qualcomm Quick Charge brick
What the product intended to do is to charge your phone via usb C PD or any compatible laptop or device while at the same time still providing a usb A slot for the conventional usb a charger for other device. The feature here is to be able to do both at the same time not one at a time. Plss, it unbearable to see hater being so stup!d and being supported by fellow hater who don’t know any better

I am simply amazed that they have the audacity to sell this as capable for charging a laptop. I was looking at the power outputs and.... 19volts? where it is? The vast majority of laptops out there are 19-20volts.
Don't buy anything without proper voltage.

To everyone quick to jump on the charger as being 'weak'.
The USB-A port complies to the USB battery charge specification:
> Battery Charging Specification 1.2:[23] with increased current of 1.5 A on charging ports for unconfigured devices, allowing High Speed communication while having a current up to 1.5 A.
>
> Source: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB#USB_2.0
Additional reference: https://www.usb.org/sites/default/files/USB_Battery_Charging_1.2.pdf
If a given manufacturer decides to produce a 2A charger, then they clearly are disregarding the standard and using such a charger *could* damage a device not designed to accept that much current.
Of course, this excludes Quick Charge and the various variants thereof.

AnonD-558092, 29 Dec 2018Never saw a modern smartphone that charges slower than 10W,... moreHaving a 2 amp charger doesn't mean it's going to supply a maximum of 2 amps to the device. Use a current meter to check how much your device is really drawing from the charger and you'll be surprised to find out that even at maximum draw, your device device takes just about 1.5 A.
