      Good for Huawei for disciplining but bad for Huawei for not disciplining enough, especially with Huawei being in the news everywhere. They really don't need more bad publicity.

        The problem is HW dont give smartphones to theirs employees.

          I guess Chinese employment law (or lack thereof) allows Huawei to dole such a disproportionate penance

            They deserve it. It's their job to promote the brand and what they did was the opposite of that.

It's a way to market their product to everyone receiving such email, tweet or message. It's like wearing a graphic heavy Tshirt ,you are actually paying to promote the brand you purchased from.

                            I mean, Huawei should provide the tools/resources to do so, e.g Phones or tablets. If not, then they are entitled to use whatever device they have on hand to do so.

                              $700 for doing THAT? Absurd...

                                  Just because you work for a company doesn't mean you use it. I work for a supermarket & hardly buy anything from it.

                                    What's the point of those signatures at the end of some apps anyway? I disable them as soon as possible.
