Walter C. Dornez, 07 Jan 2019Aren't AMD cards more geared towards more productive tasks ... moreyeah but I'm only gaming ... AMD generally offers more memory bandwidth on their cards which is essential for higher resolution but their actual chip is not delivering yet ..

The time has finally come, after years of people using AMD's APU or something else to force an NVIDIA GPU to run on FreeSync monitors (which is troublesome), it seems like things are getting easier

According to rumors,... moreI can't ... that's why I've said I will wait till price drops or AMD brings something competitive... and VEGA 64 is already competitive enough with 2070 , what I want is 4K 60 FPS capable card , RTX 2080 is barely capable of that and only 2080 ti can handle 4K at 60 FPS properly

According to rumors, new AMD GPUs are going to be on par with RTX 2070 at the very best. So... go with 2080ti if you can handle that overpriced piece of... tech.

support for FreeSync is now giving me an actual reason to go with nGridia card ... I can grab RTX 2080 FOR $600 locally and it's very tempting ..but still overpriced for that money should go 2080ti .. so I will wait till either price drops or AMD to bring something competitive .
