Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite runs Geekbench with Snapdragon 855

The SM-G970U, the US model, uses a Qualcomm chip, of course, but there should an Exynos 9820 version as well.

I think Sony realized that they can not appeal to the masses, so they are going after the professionals (especially in the media industry) with their flagship, and then to the masses with their Compact. After all, the number of people who think "being able to watch 21:9 movies without black bars on their phones" is quite low. It'll be a niche product. There's nothing bad about it though. But the Compact should be either as shown in the "leaked" renders, or a 18:9 (more conventional) version of the XZ4 if you ask me, for people to accept it. I'd buy it, unless it is a 5 - 5.2 - 5.5 inch 21:9 design, where it is no longer a "Compact".

I think all 855 benchmarks on internet are fake...
I remember to see on Sony gossip forum that people call the SD630 as Nile.

According to him, it does not match the Z5 Compact design that is all over the internet.
They have less bezels, just like xz4..

imo as it's lite, it should use 4gb of ram and 64gb of storage, and maybe also use fhd+ resolution, to cut the prices. starting at sub 600$ or even 500$ prices would make it very tempting.

People believe in this? This score is even lower than a snapdragon 835.
Come on, what news is this, how come you can say it runs a Snapdragon 855 if the scores are so low? Even tho it's not optimized, there's no way it runs so low.

I hate the trend of the smallest phone getting the worst specs....

Why cant they give the smallest phone the top specs aswell?

This, or the upcoming XZ4 Compact (assuming it will have a S855, rather than a S710 like a midranger). One of these two will be mine in 2019. My Z5 Compact is on its last legs. Last week it suddenly went into bootloop, and needed to be flashed. I lost all my contacts, SMSs, call log, any other files on the internal storage, I thankfully saved the Camera folder as it was on the microSD. I do not trust it anymore, although I STILL love its small form factor, ergonomics and practicality. I hope this S10 Lite or XZ4 Compact won't be that far off in terms of size, and will come with a minimum configuration of 6GB RAM - 128GB ROM. Fingers crossed!

Note: Obviously this is an engineering sample, etc. There's no way a finalized S855 product would score so low.

My P20 Pro which has the Kirin 970, has a Geekbench score of Single Core 1923 and Multi Core 6745, 855 not a big improvement

NILE is the name given to 630/660.
TAMA is the name of 845.

                        Seems legit
