The current HMD Finnish Nokia designs copycats chine... moreOld and Amazing Nokia designs? Turn off your nostalgia goggles, they're designed like kids toys. The old designs don't fit in with the latest designs nowadays. It'll be always about rectangular and rounded/sharp cornered phones. Nokia is seemingly getting in the times by playing safe. I for one will buy a Nokia 8.1 Plus if the SoC is a SD 855. The branding on an already small chin is class for me.
They could use the old designs as a throwback devices that will be released probably one iconic model a year.

Last time I said that in all Nokia threads in GSMArena, people are arguing whether HMD are Chinese or not (and they aren't go check all the info it's pretty clear) I had my comment actually REMOVED for some reason.... Anyways, HMD are Finnish with a lot of money coming from everywhere. Including Europe. Yes, they design their phones, Foxconn does the manufacturing AT THE OLD NOKIA PLANT which Microsoft bought years ago and sold to Foxconn. Since HMD is a new and small company, they are getting some help from FIH, mainly in the R&D department. HMD designs the phones, send them to Foxconn, who already have the internaln specs and they build the phone.

Dear people please do understand a Nokia is still Nokia its no chinese company.
Its a mix of HMD which is finnish company and a Foxconn chinese phone manufacturer largest in the world.
Around 40% of world total production of phones are made by Foxconn.

They didn't learn from their previous mistakes (nokia 8 and nokia 8sirroco)

Source? Do you even believe yourself what you’re saying? HMD is a very typical Chinese investment where they take a (previously) well known brand and try to milk money off it (Alcatel, Motorola, being other examples).
