Future MIUI development should be canceled now..
In past MIUI succeed due to stock android too boring and lack of features. But Now Android is pretty mature and feature rich.

Xiaomi should focus on fast and long updates with stock android.

And there is a difference between a flagship or a budget from Xiaomi. Flaships are always first and have better update policy!

Now I'm planning to trade away my Redmi 5 Plus after 2 years of use then switch to Asus or Nokia.

MIUI is getting horribly terrible at bug fixing and providing updates to their flagship. The "you'll get updates for at least 3-4 years on MIUI" doesn't work anymore.

Mi 3/4 also received MIUI 10 after 4,5 years of updates!

If you have a flagship from Miui, you shouldn't worry!

Have been a user since MIUI 4, it seems they have slowly declined in overall functionality and support since MIUI 7

And I still haven't updated my redmi note 5 ai from miui 9.6 and don't have any plans to as I like the older interface much better. Can't they just make a single stable version without any bugs instead of continuously releasing updates that have so many problems every release? That would be so much better

Mi Max 2 is more than a year now still no miui 10.

I wonder what MIUI update version will they release to allow my Redmi 5 Plus to record "decent" sounds from its microphones. Hmnmm......waiting game is still in progress I can tell.
