Two Huawei employees arrested in Poland over spying allegations

One of them is actually a Polish citizen.

Anyhoo, if you have your eyes on a Huawei phone, now is definitely the time to buy one. They're probably banned in most western countries in the near future.

I don't know why China thinks they can get away with this. This can damage China's economy massively as they will eventually end up losing all electronics manufacturing to the west and any country wanting to keep trade open with the west.

They're generally not very relevant countries but their choices has made them useful for outside interference in a greater geopolitical picture. Mostly regarding relations between EU countries in general and the EU and Russia.

                        Spying is a serious thing, although I wonder what would China want from Poland, our country isn't really that important (I'm from Poland). And if it turns out to be true, I hope it's not really connected with Huawei as a company, since I like their phones and I wouldn't really want them to go.

There are also branches of foreign corportaions that do most of theirs rnd in Poland, for example Nokia.

                              I'm curious why a Chinese world leader in communications technology would spy on... Poland? What secret information were they trying to get exactly, and from whom? The accusations make no sense.
