Sony is the flagship of style, no other company even comes close. x10 is still one of the best looking phones ever made.

The more I look at this phone, the more depressed I get with Sony...
I've said in other threads, that SonyE typically are 1 year behind other manufacturers on specs, but with the Arc S, etc. they were maybe 6 months behind...
If these specs are true, unfortunately they're right back to square one. Not only in design terms (it looks like an X10 which was NOT a pretty phone...) but also in the retrograde step of no expandable memory (if that is true)...
I have a GS2 with a 32gb and 16gb internal memory... and honestly once you get a few decent games on there (that have large installs) a few films, a few gigs of music, etc. it all adds up, I never seem to have enough room despite not considering myself a 'heavy user' That's before you've even though about taking 1080p video footage (which will take MASSIVE amounts of space)
I was looking forward to giving SonyE a go after a couple of years with Sammy - I liked the design of the Arc and Arc S - but this is a massively ugly phone and with this year's specs next year? I'll give it a miss... fingers crossed they make an Xperia Play 2 - maybe that will be worth it!

I think they will change the 3 buttons on the bottom. the buttons look like they were placed for demonstrating purposes only, fantastic screen and the design is great.looking forward to this.

Are these pics real? because just have a look at back of phone and there is showing 3 button same that are present at the front.I think we must wait till the phone is launched for a real pic of this phone instead looking at these pics which I'll say only a master piece of PhotoShop work.

Anonymous, 14 Dec 2011If it was released in 2011 then yes indeed it could be a mo... moreRunning madly after no. of cores or the processor type doesn't make sense if the OS is not compatible with it and also if I refresh my memory, Arc came with GB in the beginning of 2011 with a single core processor when other manufacturers were launching dual core phones with Android 2.2. So I would still go with Sony who knows what phone to release and when depending on the OS and processor user-ability and compatibility rather than running around a blind race of consumerism. Sony/E definitely ftw!!

Even though some people are critisizing it but I still lo... moreIf it was released in 2011 then yes indeed it could be a monster. Remember it will be released in 2012 and the chip manufacturers start to ship quad-core.
One more, it has GB instead of ICS which is a total dealbreaker for most of customers just like in 2011 when they lost more market share.

I think that the Arc S is the best and I like it much better in terms of how it looks than this upcoming Nozomi.
I currently have an iPhone 4 but I am thinking of buying the Arc S as a second phone...what do you guys think in terms of iPhone 4 vs. Arc S ?

Even though some people are critisizing it but I still love how the phone looks and I believe it will be a huge success.
Also, keep in mind that pics don't give you the whole picture sometimes! So, wait to see it in real and I'm sure you'll love it ;)
Spec wise it is indeed a monster! It may not be the best, but trust me it has enough power to almost run anything hassle free!
