HMD didn't fool anybody and they are trying to regain the good old nokia name. Having bezel is a choice on design which you can see clearly. When you buy a brand name, sellers try to make sure if you are capable of keeping the name up. So if NOKIA sold their brand name, they would make sure if they could trust these people (former nokia employees) with their brand.
And tiny bezels are good for usability. Just go and take vote. Tiny bezels get upper hand compared to betelless displays. Any single day.

By the way HMD is being run by former Nokia workers and leaders, in Finland, literally right next to the freaking Nokia HQ. They are literally on the opposite sides on the same road.

HMD should die. Fooled enough people to think that she is Nokia (they are not, they merely have the right to use the name), plus their products are ridiculously bad (for example, bezels, still) all the while fooling fanboysnthast they are quality.
They better be ruled out as illegal or be bankrupted.

I'm glad they are focusing on making better future products as opposed to "fixing" 2 year old devices. The best fix is the new phone, simple as that.

Nice touch. Details and little things count for a level of finesse and personal enjoyment. The CEO was extra particular with the 9. The combination of legendary robustness and high quality hardware sprinkled with a kiss of innovation it's going to be great.
