If this has same screen size and overall size like pixel 3 i am buying it, even though Sony has completely abandoned my region, i am gonna buy it somehow.

I would be more than happy if they use premium midrangers like S660/S670/S710 in their Compact series. People in general don't need more than that for fluid experince.

With OK camera something SD6xx series or SD450 or newers 4xx if there is for something under 250 euro range.
Sony is only one that makes compact phones but sadly these are only flagship phones and for the use most want for the compact size is not needed flagship hardware and of the use of a phone there is no good reason to pay flagship price plus brand price.

I still doubt, some of the case leaks were there even for iPhone SE 2018. But we all came to know what happened later.
Not sure, how the case makers are aware that a phone is going to be released when there is no official news.
