Lenovo: hey, whe have a ton of SD625, what we gonna do with it? make a entry level phone with a 2 years old SoC or make a mid range with it?
Engineers: we could make the mid range with it, since its a mid-range SoC.
Lenovo: Ok, go for it...it will sell like hotcakes for sure.
GOING TO SALE: 199 3/32 and 249 4/64.
People out there: Redmi Note 7 4/64 with SD660 at 149.
ALL RIGHT, since Redmi Note 7 is really going to kill a lot of low/mid and even high end phones with that design and price so...Moto is going by the sea right now, Moto, LG, sammycrappy and others need to learn from Xiaomi how to make a mid-range phone with superb price and a look than dont look like a mid range but almost a high end.
Its Xiaomi year for sure, hope they came to 4th place worldwide, or even 3rd...well done Motorola/Lenovo, a reputated brand getting killed by pathetic chinese eyes people.

not bad really, but hoped for the 675 inside this. So, since it wont have the 675, ill wait for Sony's high-end and go all the way and buy a XZ4 when available.

Someone at Lenovo is going all out on finding new ways to ruin the entire Moto lineup. Moto G5s plus was the last reasonably priced phone in G lineup. G6 lineup was a total failure because of the price. If they are going to launch this at the same price as Xiaomi Redmi note 7, I don't think they have any chance. I am 100% sure that G7 will be more than 15k and G7 pro will be around 18-19k. R.I.P Motorola.
