Am I the only one who shed a tear when I saw the HTC? When Android started HTC was no. 1 to look for when choosing Android phone. So sad they went downhill when competition got more serious. I truly loved their SenseUI or how was it called back than with that living clock widget and the whole UI was living mainly when a weather was rainy and their default wallpaper was truly a masterpiece for me. HTC Desire S was my first phone from them and I truly loved that phone until something broked in it and I couldn't get it to work anymore (one heavy rainy day in summer while i was cycling and it got totally wet until i got home).

Some countries have better economies. Some people afford the apple way and if you do have the money it is a better way! From Apple Pay, to Apple wallet (for flights - people fly a lot here especially for work, trains, store cards), better support, better resale value, more accessories, more compatibility, exclusive offers (starbucks give you a free app/game a week), quicker repairs (as half the people have iphones you know that a repair shop will have the components to fix your device! you can't be sure they will have the components for a huawei, a xiaomi, even a samsung! Cos while there are many androids around they are no specific models that stand out!)
9/10 people in the west have netflix, spotify and a lot of data allowance. £20 can get you 120GB of 4G (check Virgin Mobile UK) or unlimited 4G with £27 (check Three UK).
So people use their phones for streaming, social media, emailing etc. Everyone wants a flagship here and all flagships would do. Apple is only like £100 more expensive. It's not a big deal! So Apple for the aforementioned reasons is a better deal!
Apple offers the best overall experience here. The concept of using a phone for work and productivity does not exist here. Companies provide the phones. I have been given a galaxy j6. So nobody buys a phone for work. This is why Note does not sell well here.
People buy phones for personal use and the iPhones provide better experience.

Just found that 2008 Sony Ericsson 12MP Satio has a huge 1/1.25" and 1/1.32" on their 8MP Vivaz.
Damn, those are even bigger than 1/1.5" Lumia 1020, a little bit smaller than 1/1.2" PureView 808.
Of course, those phones won't compete with smartphone these days anymore, especially with their limited processing engine and video recording too (But maybe on pure, unprocessed still shoot performance). I hope Sony upped their mobile camera games again with now their 1/2" IMX586 touches the low-midrange phones competition.

Micro sd card really... we are no longer in 2009. The majority of people don’t longer use it now because it’s too complicated and no relevant at all. Now let’s talk about the 3.5mm jack, don’t you think that is better to improve technology and give up on our old wires and Apple actually made a simply way to do that “Airpods”. People like you are the reason why technology is struggling to evolve, give up on your old habits and accept what the future is made of.
