hmm, 30 Jan 201918W chargers are already on low end phones. This should be ... moreWell, HMD is much smaller company, then those giants U are referring to. China and India together beets other markets, so that's why there first IMO. Then Europe, North America is even smaller then India's market, I believe. They will get bigger, I'm sure of it.
About prices; in my country goes like this, few € up or down, if U buy in store carrier free:
      - Nokia: 8 375€, 7+ 320€, 7.1 315€, 8.1 450€, 6 ( 2018 ) 225-300€...
      - Huawei: Mate 20 Lite 345€, Mate 20 630€, Mate 20 Pro 690€, Honor 10 390€, P20 Pro 690€, P20 445€ P20 Lite 275€...
      - Samsung: S9+ 670€, S9 570€, S8 470€, A8 300€, A7 300€, S7 350€...
      - I-phone: XR 830€, 6S 360€, 7 500€, X 1000€, XS Max 1200-1500€...
      - Xiaomi: Poco F1 340€, Mi Mix 3 560€, Mi 8 Pro 540€, Mi 8 420€, Mi Max 3 290€...

Well, price various in some models with different HW variants, but not too much.
So prices are not 2-3 times less, even with similar HW.

18W chargers are already on low end phones. This should be the best that comes from Nokia. Over priced useless device. I once was a Nokia fan and now can wait to see when they die out. Late on the market with old technology with high premium prices. First for China and India market like the rest of the Chinese brands. Then maybe later for EU and even more later in North America. If Nokia want to be a player they need to release all there phones on there release date with global version.

As of now i just dont see any difference with this then other Chinese brands. I know that this Nokia is Finnish brand and even have some of the workers of the old brand but now days i just see them like the rest of the Chinese brands for the reason as there phones will be for China/India first.

By the time Nokia new line up come out and sold in EU the market is already full of more interesting and more affordable phones that have 2-3 times less price with same hardware or even better then Nokia have to offer. Stock android isnt something i am illing to pay more. It's like buy a PC and then Buy windows from retail store for 100+ euro when you get to have the same windows for 15-25 euro on key chops online.

Build quality on these branded phones are not so great that it needs 100 euro on the price for it alone. There are lots of brands that give good built quality for a fraction of the Nokia price

I don't think HMD Nokia wants to compete with Samsung, Apple, Huawei or Xiaomi, they are too big, in my opinion they shouldn't!
They should just focus to deliver quality product, like Nokia used to do, that's good enough for me, even if HW is not the latest ( 5G is not coming so soon yet ), so it would be waste of money.
For some design might be boring, well, not for me, everybody has a choice.

Tech savy? Mor like tech wannabe, a tech savy can't conplain about something he understands, that will be left for the wannabes.

There are many more people that are tech savvy when it comes to phones, especially in the high-end spectrum. If nokia takes to long bringing out a snapdragon 855 version of this 9 pure view, they will be left in the dust by other manufactures much quicker than they apparently realize. Because, they really shouldn't be releasing an 2017 845 in 2019, it makes them look bad. Not very smart marketing

Hmm. But the real question is...whether Nokia, with Nokia 9 would hit or miss. Because I guess they never miss ha.
                                      We are already a tracer.
