Nokia 9 PureView to come with 18W fast charger, passes through China’s 3C

Enrique, 29 January 2019

Next month, HMD will take the stage in Barcelona during the MWC where the company will announce a new Nokia device. We’re all hoping that it will be the long-awaited five-camera Nokia 9 PureView.

The device has been certified through the Chinese 3C and although this doesn’t reveal any specifics about the device itself, we can see that the purported device will come with an 18W quick charger in the box.

The adapter itself is rated for 5V @ 3A, 9V @ 2A, or 12V @ 1.5A. Based on these ratings, it looks like the adapter can support both Qualcomm’s Quick Charge and possibly USB-Power Deliver up to 15W via the 5V @ 3A current. The phone is rumored to have a 4,150 mAh battery

The other thing revealed by this certification is the model number of the unreleased Nokia device which is TA-1094. We've seen this model number before, as well as TA-1087, and TA-1082.

As per previous rumors, the Nokia 9 PureView is said to have a 6-inch AMOLED screen with QHD+ resolution and an in-display fingerprint scanner. There’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 CPU. However, Nokia is said to be planning to announce a 5G-compatible version of the same device in the future with the newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.

Here is promo video that leaked last month:

The Nokia 9 PureView is heavily rumored to have a five-camera system on the back, positioning its camera prowess as Nokia once did so with its 41MP Lumia 1020 back in 2013. The five cameras might be comprised of a main RGB sensor, wide-angle, telephoto (zoom), monochrome (black and white) and a depth sensor.

Very funny. Like the SD855 is a lot better. If SD845 can run any app within a 1 second and SD855 does it in 0,9 seconds like its a marginal difference. You have no idea what do you saying. SD845 is great enough.
