with the price on 1 ( iPhone XS Max )
- you can feed a hundred homeless people.
- you can treat you family out of the country.
- you can eat like 30pcs of Yellow cab pizza.
- you can buy a 2nd or brand-new motor cycle.
- you can buy a new wife / girl friend
- etc.
there is more value rather than buying that expensive phone.
so apple if you read this comment have some price drop on your flagship phones :)

Apple is doomed hahahha yet every single big company like Apple or even Samsung will always survive with their strategies. The last time the shares was this low was back in october 2017.
The value slumped from $1138B at the end of august 2018 to $731B today: a decrease of 35% in 5 months.
Sales are down, prices are up. People dont see the need to upgrade as often as the technology present in the past years phones are still very good for what we use our phones for today. And yet apple is continuing with their model of testing their customer base with the amount deemed acceptable to get a new iphone by a systematic increase in pricing. seems that has plateaued and people are thinking twice before getting the new iphone. Also, there is this US china dispute with Huawei and companies are strongly discouraging the use of iphones.
So no... apple aint thriving. they are in deep shit if they dont come up with something new.

As flagship entry points to iOS yes, their powerful chips along with years of OS updates makes them true flagships.

When you see leaks of the Samsung prices, it looks like Samsung will also going to get hammered too. If Apple & Samsung think that they can get away it in 2019 then they're stuffed.
Apple has 'others' money from within their iPhone wall but with Samsung I don't see that same options from their Galaxy phones.
