Why not just have the top bezel same size as bottom and incorporate the cameras in there... Whats the point of still having a top bezel (albeit smaller) and then camera cutouts separate. This would have been acceptable if they had no top bezel.

I don't understand mobile company designers. They could ask me.
Instead of double holes, single holes, notches, they could easily come up with rotate out selfie camera, that no need to come in middle of display.
It is also possible to just use same camera for front and back. just that they can ask me :)

Needs bigger forehead to house those front cameras and install a decent front firing speaker.
Also needs bigger side bezels for smooth and accurate swipe action.
Enough with this childish monolith displays gibberish, with their fixating holes and notches.

Denied. S8(+) is symmetrical which is faaaar nicer. The scanner requires some muscle memory and has nothing to do with aesthetics. Also the side bezels are slimmer on the s8(+).

Guys complaining about the chin, the bottom bezels looks big because Samsung s10 have carved edges thin side bezels, s10 bottom bezels have The same size as The iPhone xs bottom bezels

S8 has its fingerprint scanner on a unreachable position. You'd have to have big hands to find that comfortable. S8+ is even worse, because of its height. Positioning is even worse than on the actual XZ series.

Oof. That chin.
It's a rock and a hard place for Samsung. The S9 design looked great, but didn't represent enough of an upgrade to sell well. So now change things up and release a design that, let's be honest, is comparable to (if not worse than) every Chinese flagship released over the last 6 months. With the added bonus of costing $500+ more.
