Redmi throws shade at Samsung Galaxy M series

-Both phones use LCD
-TFT is a type of LCD, but better than 'normal' LCD. You could describe it as an upgrade, of sorts. Should be in most, if not any LCD phone
-IPS and LPS are basically the same thing
-Full name for M20's display should be 'PLS TFT LCD'
Thus, since there is the 'TFT' part in the M20, it should be slightly better. Although, it should make sense that the RN7 also has TFT because it's very, very common. In theory, it's so common that the guys at Redmi/Xiaomi didn't even know that they're using it *chuckle*
This is just a summary of what I've been researching around for half an hour. Research done by googling and wiki-ing LCD, TFT, IPS and LPS. I also learned a bit about CRT, LED, TFD, TN and some other stuff
I don't know much about the cameras. We'll need to test it or watch a review of it ourselves, but the RN7 should be better, but not too much better

But if you wanna be on safe side and wanna fell nostalgic, forget M20, just take M10, it's still great old TFT, but with HD+ resolution streched above 6". It's a great plasticy phone, with 17 months old Android version out of box, like i said, great gor nostalgic people :D

PHEWW, I was about to buy the M20 but then I saw this advertisement and realized I really need other passengers on train/bus to spy on my screen so I'll just wait for Note 7 so everyone can see what I'm doing on my phone. Thank you Xiaomi! /sarcasm_off

They should have countered xiaomi a long time back. Of course this phone is not upto xiaomi level, yet. But it is a step in the right direction. They are lowering prices. The brand value of samsung is high and it would have been a shame if samsung did nothing to fight back xiaomi. But many will be buying this phone because this phone do give great value for money for a brand like samsung, which is a first for samsung. And it is clear that xiaomi feels threatened mainly due to the long standing brand value of samsung and also due to their new pricing strategy. Also it can be seen that samsung is innovating, which is a good thing. Now as big companies like samsung enter the fray, the competition will be getting way tougher. This is a very good thing for us consumers. Hope samsung follows this trend.

Samsung with 50% discount cant beat Xiaomi in a feature rich phone as is Redmi 7.
For up to 200 euros Redmi 7 is the best phone on the martket.

They should compare low light photos of Redmi Note 7 and M20. Huge difference.

As I said, I have 7 Xiaomi devices (the most recent one is a 2018 model Mi Pad 4 plus LTE with snapdragon 660) and I only had 1 Samsung device which is very old and which I sold 2 years ago. I simply give credit where credit is due and Samsung clearly deserves credit.
Unlike you however, I am NOT a Xiaomi FANATIC. I am not a BRAND SLAVE like you as I am not loyal to ANY BRAND and will easily SHIFT to any brand if another phone can offer the specs and features I want at a better price. I make buying decisions based on the overall package, price and extensive feature set that I consider MY MUST HAVES. Unlike you, I do not buy based on processor speeds alone which is only one of the numerous features that makes a midrange phone a good buy. Right now, an IR blaster and an LTE only mode is one of my MUST HAVE features. Throw those in to the Samsung M20 and I'm abandoning Xiaomi in a heartbeat. I REPEAT. The difference between me and you is that I'm a Xiaomi fan while you are A BLIND XIAOMI FANATIC. If there's anyone who's into drugs, it's certainly NOT ME but YOU!

M50 will be the one that actually going against Note 7 Pro. M50 probably cheaper price since it rumored to use SD670 while N7P using SD675. It could tempt people to buy it if it actually have similar features than Note 7 Pro.

IPS Display N Amoled Always Best..... IPS gave tough fight to Amoled for many years N Still IPS using by Xiaomi, Sony, Huwei Etc...... In Displays there r 4 or 5 Categories where PLS come in below category.... Personally i don't like PLS because it can't compare with IPS or Amoled.
