Redmi throws shade at Samsung Galaxy M series

05 February 2019
The Chinese manufacturer says a ‘M’obile with TFT display is “just too old”.

This kind of makes no sense, I think. The Redmi Note 7 has an IPS screen, and the Samsung M series phones have PLS screens. PLS technology is similar to IPS, but newer. So how can the M series displays be "too old" when compared to Xiaomi? Maybe the comparison is meant to be about cameras, not displays.

Even the ones on theirs are inferior in overall quality as well.
Redmi Note 7 Pro with Sony IMX586 sensor will just put the Samsung Galaxy M30 into shame

M20 is not for gamers, most of techies has said that plus build is plastic . Only plus point is battery and display.

Luxor, 05 Feb 2019Xiaomi is scared. Lol. Throwing shade on their own camera s... moreyeah, M30 may be Note 7 killer, but not in the price so...dont worry, M30 wont sell as good as Note 7 i can guarantee you...

          Shameshung will be eated alive.

Luxor, 05 Feb 2019Xiaomi is scared. Lol. Throwing shade on their own camera s... moreHold your horses buddy. M30 will be priced much higher. For that Redmi has Note 7 Pro.

Note 7 is already much Superior to M20 and at the same price. Samsung is just betting on paid promotions via Youtubers. One big Indian YouTuber already caught in the controversy.

              Hahahahaha...Chinese OEM start crying...lol

nik.007, 05 Feb 2019Don't think M20 is the real competitor to the upcoming RN7.... moreExpected price? Who told you that? The Samsung fanboy that lives inside you?

Note 7 will be priced starting 10k, and 4+64 will arrive at 14k. If anything Samsung has to be worried in here.

Note 7 has superior design, better build quality, faster charging, better processor, better cameras, better UI, only thing better in M20 is battery.

While Note 7 Pro will kill the M30. So hold your horses. No matter how much Samsung pays Indian YouTubers to speak in it's favour, Samsung will have a hard time.

Luxor, 05 Feb 2019Xiaomi is scared. Lol. Throwing shade on their own camera s... moreI guess Samsung will be going after the Chinese brands big time. If it can recapture India as No1 again, then it can maintain its global rankings. Plus its inn9vayi9n streak will increase big time. Chinese OEMs Re the ones to beat. Nobody else matters.

Xiaomi is scared. Lol. Throwing shade on their own camera supplier. I heard Galaxy M30 will be Redmi Note 7 killer. Better wait longer I guess.

Don't think M20 is the real competitor to the upcoming RN7. With Note 7's expected price (for 4/64 variant) of around 15-16k, it will be competeting with the M30 probably.
Also, with this pricing for a brand like Samsung, I can bet Xiaomi won't be ending this year with the "No. 1 Smartphone Brand in India" tag.
