Stivi, 08 Feb 2019I don't care for those standards, I don't even like those '... more+1 on no notches or punch holes. Yep, today's standards are ugly. I wouldn't mind an all-screen phone just as long as they can hide the camera under the screen, being invisible until you actually want to take a picture. Like Samsung has in some patents.
It would have been great if it was also made of aluminum, instead of this glass sandwich that everyone makes nowadays. Just look at Nokia 6.1. It is gorgeous and durable at the same time.

They knew they wont sell it well.
For nostalgic sake, they made it.
At 749euro, that device is simply a not worthy one.
BUT, if by using SD845, nokia manage to push the price of this Nokia 9 to 649 euro, 699 at max, it will sell really well.

For Huawei case, they moves the Kirin970 to their mid-range models when the flagship models are coming out with Kirin980.

Lumia ... moreInternals no because WP ran great on average hardware but at the same time yes because power users would turn their nose up at low end hardware. UI no because the WP UI and UX was the best of all 3 mobile OSes so mainly it was the apps and catering too much to the low end market sadly.
Currently trying to source a Lumia 930 in black and gold :)

How can it be the flagship when it doesn't have the latest?
Unless the penta camera delivers, this one would fail to make it, most especially with its choice of chipset.
LG did it with the G6 and even Nokia themselves with the Nokia 8 Sirocco last year. Guess what?? Both phones didn't sell well!
If your flagship phone cannot beat the other flagship phone in other aspects, then at least make sure to use the same powerful chipset as they do in order to match their performance somehow.

Trypophobia is just a millennial craze. Not a real fear. It's just created by keyboard warriors to stir up for fun and c'mon it's not that bad. I'll wait for the 5G version of Nokia 9 PureView (SD 855) and I hope they put the jack on that too.

The camera quality is one of the most important features selling points of modern smartphones. Each year the amount of sensors and lenses increase, new features are added, AI helps taking the perfect shot.
Then WHY do the companies always forget the most important feature: The dedicated camera button.
What good is a camera with perfect picture quality when I miss the shot because I cannot start the camera (fast enough) because I'm using gloves or simply don't see anything because it's dark. With a dedicated camera button the camera can be started simply, quick and everywhere.
Please, dear Nokia/Samsung/LG/Huawei: Add a dedicated button for the camera just like Sony! It's more important than adding additional camera lenses.
