Oh wow hahahahaaahahaahaha! WOW! This is a joke, right? Right??
Hahahhahahahaa, ooh boy, I would laugh my 455 off if I saw anyone use this kind of phone... "I hold ALL the cameras!!" hahhahaha

Nick Tagataka, 07 Feb 2019I strongly felt the same, given that there's no camera hump... moreIf you remember the leaked.promo video it also said 5x clarity and nothing about different focal lenghts and there has been no rumors of wide or telephoto lens all leaks have just said 5 cameras nothing about versatility so that pretty much confirms it but I do hope there is atleast a wide angle in there somewhere

I believe such thing as phone design development exists too and this thing kind of ignores it at all. It doesn't look like 2019 model. Plus cameras look let's say original (but OK some might like it). I agree with those who wrote that SoC should be the newest one but OK they're working on it at least. I understand some people are little tired of bezels notches race and want something looking different than other phones but... what actually would be appealing about this device compared to the others for its price if it hadn't great camera? I don't think that much. So camera is crucial here -hopefully it will be one of the best if not the best for its own good. Nokia fans don't attack I'm no Nokia hater just a little sceptical about current Nokia phones and company went its own way already back in a day and we know it wasn't successful.

Design is perfectly symmetric. Feels better to be used by guys with OCD like me compared to s10 plus long punch hole

No notch is superb! I think this phone would look awesome in the same colour as the dark brownish from the Nokia 8.1.

Not a fan of Nokia, but I'll take these bezels over fugly punch hole camera(s) anyday.

Design looks fine to me. In order to live upto the hype, this phone really just has to deliver on the camera performance.

This going to be the very best flagship of this year. I am sure of it.
Other competitors can go nuts. Especialy Samsung.

I Lille some bezel as they help with the overall design look. Am sick to death of notches, tear drops and the punch hole is ugly. I salute Nokia for daring to do their own thing and not allowing themselves to follow the crowd. 2019 glass slabs have lost all industrial design and look boring as hell. I purposely now buy interesting cases to spice up the boring design.

Perfect symmetrical top & bottom bezels without notch or punch holes in the screen. Only missing thing in this beautiful handset is 3.5 mm jack.

Seeing as Nokia has been working on this for very long, expectations are high. But at the same time it's hard not to fear that they may not bring the latest and greatest large sensors that will be broadly available in 2019 devices. Just like they didn't bring a modern design, despite the fact that they do have it in other recent phones.

Nokia 8.1 is a prime example of the cause of this fear. It's a very recent Nokia device, but still only has a 1/2.55" sensor, and it gets no additional help from its f/1.8 aperture.

Multiple sensors for low light trickery isn't a necessity when the most recent big sensors are "all grown up" and can catch more light on their own. Granted we're still a far cry away from any 1/1.2", or even 2/3" sensor, but I doubt the Nokia 9 will bring anything like that either.

This render, just like all the others leaks, show the lenses to all be of same size. So either they were lazy and just copy and pasted, or they really are all the same size. Not all that strange for the four grouped together, but a bit surprising for the fifth on top on its own.

Generally speaking I'd happily take three (wide, standard, tele) OIS sensors of large size over 5 sub par ones. Not to suggest that Nokia 9 will use 5 bad sensors, just generally speaking.

Luckily we don't yet know what Nokia has done, and it certainly will be interesting to see. The higher the expectation, the bigger the disappointment can be :-)

Shui8, 07 Feb 2019With as many with that camera, i doubt that it has a large ... moreHmm. According to picture, are the lens seem to be identical.

this "huge" bezel is much better than a notch or a punch-hole...

as for the strange camera setup, I doubt it will be anything special in terms of quality, but we'll see

Anonymous, 07 Feb 2019I'd be more impressed if it comes out with a single big sen... moreIn fact, if they achieve to combine multiple identical sources as it's done with spacial telescopes for exemple, 4 identical cameras could gather the same light as a big one, being smaller because of the lens. A lens system for a big sensor will quickly get thick, or have a lot of distorsion. So this could be the way to integrate a virtually bigger sensor in a thinner device like a smartphone.

In fact if it works well and smoothly, it would be far more impressive technically than just integrating one bulky large sensor like 808 had.
But like said previously, the hardware will have a lot to do, so we can just wait and see.

Advantage of having not a full screen display or minimal bezels is that there is space for front camera, speaker , led notification light , facial recognition sensor if essential and it is more comfortable to hold the phone anywhere you go...….Having full screen lacks all these (Beside looking fancy)….Actually all smart phones makers should consider this thing....

I am hoping the l16 Light Camera company is not behind this 5 camera design. The l16 light camera was a monumental disaster. The concept was superb, but the execution was highly disappointing. It only goes to show that sometimes it's better to have less degrees and more sense.

If they haven't chosen sensors that are fast enough (preferably with DRAM), way more ISPs in addition to the ones already in the original SoC design and a lot better algorithms, then it may be another l16 disaster.

This idea seems interesting, the only question is whether the hardware can support more than 2 cameras without hiccups and fast enough.

Why don`t Nokia use one large sensor instead of several tiny ones? I believed more cameras could be beneficial to their marketing and promotion as there were more to say about, but it was really ugly and I don`t believe many will love it at all.
