Unrelated, but I'm quite sure it's the case that's not doing the P30 Pro any favours in the looks department. The flash placement doesn't have to be symmetrical.. the lenses weren't on the P20 after all, and that made it look iffy with some cases on. Will reserve judgement until I see the phone naked.

Every lack of security is a problem for everyone we don't like any annyy photo or something to be leaked on the wrong hands, you speak for yourself, if anyone including the government can f**c up your phone everyone can. And we clearly know how that key stays "safe" somewhere

It is possible to recover from this, just takes time. When it comes to tech products like phones/modems/etc, consumers usually care more about hardware performance. As long as the actual tech is fast, performs well and is reasonably priced, it will be marketable. Tech brands don't solely rely on their names to sell goods unlike food or fashion industry (where brand names are a major factor in attracting sales). Next year (2020) will be a good year for Huawei once 5G rolls out and everyone can compare the equipments from telecom suppliers to see who's the fastest. Once the performance rankings chart comes out, everyone will flock to which ever one is at the top.

                      They're also in the midst of 5g test trials. It's unfortunate that the company got caught in the current trade war. This year (2019), due to all the bad press, the business outlook seems kind of gloomy. Next year 2020 when 5g is in full rollout phase, it will be the light at the end of the tunnel for Huawei.

                          We are waiting for the upcoming Samsung S10 series and Huawei P30 series, with excitement, but with different kind of expectations. With Huawei being the kind of companies it has always been, I expect a lot more from Huawei.

                            Smartphone is not their biggest department as well. Well i've been using a lot of flagship smartphone, since Sony Ericsson Satio. Up until now, various Huawei device as well, and it doesnt disappoint me.

                                    Spigen makes great cases that's for sure.
                                    The 3 camera setup looks far better than the 4 cam / offset flash fiasco.
                                    Not a fan of the flat screen myself but looks like the 3.5 jack is there which is good of most people. Good job Huawei, now keep the price down.

                                      Or just in house when you are scared to turn on big lamp to not wake whole household.
