Hey, it's not about Apple or Android but US Patents, How dumb they are to give patent for such obvious features. There is nothing inventing in links in texts.

Why not Google follow Windows and create something on their own instead of copying and duplicating others success in the veil of open source, freedom and etc but still making money still out of it.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I recall older phones (i.e. Sony Ericsson/Nokia feature phones) which was also able to translate phone numbers and urls into links to click on... Didn't they?

Seriously, this is ridiculous, my Sony Ericsson Z530i had this feature much before anyone exept Apple new ANYTHING about iPhone and iOS.
This crap is becoming stupid, trying to sue all concorrence and not trying to do better and more affordable phones.

This is a perfect example why U.S. customers always get strip down versions of really cool phones. Which make those that don’t know better think that the iPhone was the best phone ever made.
When the rest of the would encourages innovation the “big dogs” in the U.S. always try to tell you “YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE IT BECAUSE WE NOT MAKING MONEY FROM IT”
When will it stop???
“Pay by phone” has been out for years in the East. While the U.S. still fighting each out to pick a slandered. Hell, why can’t I get all the versions there is for “pay by phone” so I can decide which one I want to use when.
