There's some contaminated land in some good potential areas. And expropriation is tricky. And you can't put the kids 10KMs away from home for school.

I was just kidding that Canada was going to bui... moreYeah schools are all pretty much in overcapacity. Music classes, computer rooms and libraries get repurposed as classes. The playgrounds are often shrunk by half to place prebuilt classrooms. In the area alone where I live, they must build 200 school classes to fix this problem.
There's also a nasty problem of unsanitary conditions on certain schools (mushrooms, asbestos...) because they are old. Thus schools get closed when there's already not enough room for everyone
But still it's a great country. And yeah there's always inequality wherever you go.
