If u live in India, there are TONS of Android phones with better specs around the same price.
Did U realized that THE REASONS why K6 power was heavy because of the Aluminum body & its 4000mAh battery?
That's why Nokia 1 is light; dirt cheap PLASTIC body + Plastic screen + meager 2150mAh battery capacity.
I have similar phone like that, Acer Liquid E3+, which I bought in 2013, for around the same price of Nokia 1.
While it was similar, but E3 had several good features, unlike Nokia 1 (except LTE); Dual Front speaker, DTS sound, impressive camera (13mp with f/1.8), back camera button, flashes in both front & back camera, etc.

Well as a SANE person I had to get Nokia 1 (with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal) for my Dad. He wasn't using Lenovo K6 power I got him earlier saying it's big and heavy. His requirement was light, small, only to be used for calling, SMS and of course below INR 5k. What he got in Nokia 1 was 4G VOLTE network, WhatsApp for video calling too without any bloatware pre-installed. Phone OS upgrades doesn't matter as long as it works without getting stuck.

It's not like Nokia is lazy, but the MORE devices they release, the LONGER the updates & patches user will get.
That's the point why not many people interested in buying Nokia's devices; they will become the second Samsung (TONS devices, SCARCE updates)

Something that NO SANE person will buy, for whatever reason (except sheep, which is not)
Even dirt cheap Xiaomi's Redmi 5 / 5A get BETTER SoC & AT LEAST 2GB RAM for future-proof sake (obviously most people will get the 3GB RAM version, future-proof sake)

Google was very well aware that in future, 1/2GB RAM will be insufficient for installation of full Android OS versions, so they created lite version called 'Go' from Oreo onwards. Same goes with storage also. 8/16GB storage is insufficient for full OS with monthly security updates.On 1/2GB RAM full Android OS won't be able to run smoothly. In 2019, Google must make it mandatory to have 3/32GB or 4/64GB storage for installation of full OS.
Coming back to Oreo update for Nokia 2, on 1GB RAM, it won't able to run Oreo smoothly. Lately HMD became too lazy to push updates to their handsets. Nokia 3.1 Plus was suppose to get Pie update last month, but not yet got it. HMD provided 8.1 update to Nokia 3 on 21 Dec 2018 in some countries, but other countries are still waiting for the update. They had claimed Pie update in late Q2 2019, but I doubt they will be able to fulfill their promise.
