Walter C. Dornez, 12 Feb 2019Interesting. I haven't heard about this before. Most tests ... moreI also thought the same when I saw single core score of exynos but after watching that tests by @GarryExplains on youtube it changed my perspective completely about Exynos processor. Exynos was way slower than SD 845. Test device was Note9 in both variant.

I wonder if the A13 chips in the September 2019 iPhones will score half a million on AnTuTu or whether we will have to wait until September 2020 for that to happen. Whatever happens, I expect they will be the fastest kids on the block as usual.

Walter C. Dornez, 11 Feb 2019What does EUV actually do?Extreme Ultra-Violet lithography allows the etching of features smaller than ever before due to the short wavelength and comparably high energy. Think tighter focus and reduced exposure time, leading to a cleaner pattern that can be packed denser than older processes.

Walter C. Dornez, 11 Feb 2019In GPU performance, yeah.
The newer Exynos is also slower ... moreIn the test he mentions, its way, way slower than the 845. By a lot.
And if Samsung dont improve their cache subsystem it would be the same this year.

If its the worse of the four (*expecting the exynos dont disappoint that much), how it can be "between the best"?

No matter what, he, you and i think.
Its a fact... so simple.

but Apple is big in the US but not world wide. Leaving the question of where the others are having their chips made such as Huawei, Samsung, Xiaomi, etc.

Walter C. Dornez, 11 Feb 2019What does EUV actually do?It is an extremely costly silicon manufacturing process, its cutting edge, supposed to have debuted in 2003 (yes 2003) but its been finally made possible in 2019
