Regardless of everything is still too over priced.
The only saving grace is that everything else has also gotten too over priced. But in comparison lack more in comparison in the whole package and cost of build, accessories, advertising, etc...

If you put 100gb of ram on a smartphone...still it cannot consider as a computer...but if your camera sensor is smaller than 1/2” ...then no one consider it as a camera phone

Since their A10 debacle, where the Samsung made chips were slower than the TSMC made ones, Apple stopped double sourcing their chips.

What if you want to multitask on the go? Or .. I don't know , just throw your computer away because it is a throwback to the past and replace it with a phone?
I welcome this trend of overpowered phones. Finally they can become development evnrioments. Never before was that possible no less because of people like you who like to own 1 million devices. I have a Note 9 and run Ubuntu (on Dex) on it. I (will) welcome a change of pace, a faster phone, one where I would be able to actually develop on without hiccups.

That Nubia's score is stupidity. It is powered by same Snapdragon 845 that powers S9, Note9, OnePlus 6 and everyone knows where is it's place on antutu (around 260-270k eventually, not 320k), its boosted obviously.
