Yes the phone is good ,but just good , not great . I want to note some flaws i found on this device myself :
- the sound quality isn't the best ( compared with note 9 and even with pocophone )
- i found some lag in certain situations on instagram ,facebook
- i found that i missed some notification sometimes (they do not appear even the notification option is selected )
- i found curved shape of screen is more pronounced then samsung note 9 to example.Some may like it , i don t .
- camera: autofocus really bad, colors nice in day-time ,in night i found they are washed out , master ai activated - more pronounced colors ( i dont like it ,the colors look very artificial ) ,video isn't bad but my wife's iphone 8 plus shoot better videos .
-the speed of phone is fine ,just fine . Maybe i expect more but no ... i found not much difference compared with note 9 . In some cases the phone gets warm (not very hot ) and the throttling is evident .
-i found face unlocking sometimes missed me. The fingerprint in display is very slow in my opinion .

Emui is number one problem for Huawei and lack of features. They know do not even allow people to change it. They shoot in their leg.

I have the phone for 3 months and 100% i am agree with this review. Gsmarena this time you are right and one think to mention about mate 20 pro. Vibration of the phone is disaster as well. Do i recommend this phone for this money no i d9nt recommended

Lyndino, 16 Feb 2019If the EMUI is not fully optimised and a copy of iOS of sor... moreI have both Mate 20 Pro and Note 9 512 GB. My main driver is M20P and Note 9 is sort of secondary device. I don't play movies in my mobile but do watch short videos, overall performance is great. EMUI is not bad but I sort of like it though it mimics iphones in UI. It's gesture based navigation, navigation dock, big bright display, fantastic camera, AI powered SoC nothing to complain at all.... Only down side is proprietary memory card otherwise there is no comparison.
Note 9 certainly good but lacks some cool features like face id, in display fingerprint reader.... otherwise Note 9 is excellent one.
But both are way way ahead of iPhones

The most important part of a phone is the user experience and if EMUI is not optimized enough for a person who see's hundreds of phones a year (rough number) then it's not a contender. Could have an AnTuTu score of 1 million but if EMUI is not good it's just not good.

Haters may argue otherwise, but it is a known fact at this point that this phone is one of the best flagships of 2018. Whether you look at professional reviews or user reviews, this phone has gotten almost unanimous acclaim. That's all that matters.

This phone is great, but can not match with iphone. Iphone have better pics and video. Screen is from another planet, and speakers are piece of art.

Galaxy Note 10, 16 Feb 2019I use this mobile extensively, some of the nit picking like... moreIf the EMUI is not fully optimised and a copy of iOS of sort's than it's definitely not worth the money! A fully functioning phone is far more crucial than a second best camera set-up.
Best value for money to date is the Note 9, I don't have one but the s-pen is far more crucial than a 3 cam set-up for me.
