Well, I've always liked symbian devices more than android ones. Maybe due to being a little bit nostalgic or whatever the reason is. Unfortunately there is no device from nokia that can compete with medium rank smartphones like galaxy ace :--(.

have a bit of perspective folks: if Nokia hadn't handed off OS development to Accenture, Sym^3 users would still be waiting on a leaked Anna ROM.

Nokia will be playing catchup for some time thanks to their disastrous planning over the past few years. They will not disappear, and I don't doubt they'll keep doing interesting things (unlike, say LG) despite being a diminishing force.

Why was one of the older top smartphones the N95 8GB left out to sea with software for updates?

So by the time existing customers get Belle, it will be close to 6 months that this has been out on many devices! What a joke Nokia are!
This update was clarified by Nokia has coming in the fourth quarter and now we are into the first quarter of the New Year - and not even January
My N8 is now history,I might use it as a back up sometime but it's over to iPhone now for me!
