I'd imagine the speakers would be next to go after the 3.5mm socket. More and more people have smartwatches that can discretely inform them of a call, and people normally use earphones/headphones for other audio anyway. If you play your music out loud in public then you're an a**, if you don't own anything else that can play your audio, why do you even have a smartphone?

This should have had an official IP rating and stereo speakers.
3.5mm jack, SD card and Fm radio features would be welcome as well but I don't think those will be added any time soon.

Bobby_gBG, 18 Feb 2019MiUi is exactly the reason previous year I bought Mi8 inste... moreI am also fan of miUI since redmi 2. I hate Samsung since Samsung is a rival of Nokia long time ago. Till I try Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy A8 2018, I fell in love with Samsung Experience (not TouchWiz which I also hate so). Yes, Samsung has its own app store and its own apps and just FB/microsoft app but all of apps can be uninstalled or disabled or hidden Galaxy app store can be disabled and hidden if you just want Google Play.
So, try new Samsung OS instead of TouchWiz.

I am a little worried about the UD fingerprint readers, are they reliable fast and accurate ? The one in the Mi9 is optical i see.

But it should be better to be called tbe duplicate of flagship phone than be called the duplicate of any mid-range/cheap phone with the premium price. I say that in term of exterior design, not the specs/features.

It is much better than stock android, extremely lightweight (especially vs TouchWIz) and if your location is in Europe - it has no ads, and also 0 bloatware.
