There are similar cheap chinese cgass screen protectors waaaay cheaper that work without an issue.
Have installed them in S7 Edge and S8 and no problems till today.
It seems that what renders the fingerprint scanner unsuable is that air gap but with any "full screen glue" screen protector this problem is avoided.
Good news.

Ridiculous fingerprint tech for amateur tech savies who just buy whatever is advertised.
And this case is just another gimmick for them. I guess stupidity can be milked infinitely by crapsung and iPhone

Tempered glass installation always a nightmare for curved screens. S9+ I had to replace many high priced tempered glasses finally applied scratch guard. I followed the same with Note 9. Better Samsung solves it by applying a scratch guard along with production and sell it instead of making customers to look for third-party solutions that eventually affects their overall experience.

Well, they are comparing their product to other screen protectors that only have adhesive on the sides/edges of the protector
So any full adhesive protector would do

If it is the case and I urgently buy Galaxy S10/S10+, I will let the display alone (i.e. without any screen protector). Why should I anyway, it is protected with Gorilla v.6. I even do not like a case, just using the phone carefully.

First create a unnecessary problem, then require a pricey new product to solve that problem. Shady business practices as usual.
