      5000 Yuan is 653€, not 520. 4000 Yuan would be 520€... So the transparent edition has quite a price hike and the rumoured 6000 Yuan version isn't such a huge increase over that.

              it would be great if Xiaomi launches their high end phones in India, like Mi Mix 3 and Mi9, currently Onplus is undisputed leader of below 550$ mobile segment in India, OP 6t costs 530$ here and people buy this phone blindly, I see like every 6 people out of 10 buy OP phone for this budget. If Mi launches Mi9 for $500 people would definitely buy this as Xiaomi have really good reputation in india.

                    It will take just 1 or 2 years until all Chinese flagships will cost 1000 usd.
                    Based on service what they have, I don't see any reason to buy them unless you have in your city one of their stores (Xiaomi, Huawei).

                                Still the same Mi "high end" issues: no card slot (pay a lot of extra for extra memory and impossible to recover data, if phone breaks) and no 3.5mm.

                                No thanks Xiaomi. You still don't play in the real high-end league.
