the wallpaper color scheme reminds me of ap*le that uses the same method to 'hide' their notch. *sigh

Bangi, 19 Feb 2019Fruity colors appeal to fruity people IPhone will have red color, although it is a apple colors but I think it is because Chinese love red and Apple want marketing it. While Samsung new color like the Fluorescent yellow just like the vest colors, I think it just a trends not a special unique color because I know yellow can have many tone different types of moods but this one plain.

In my opinion, it is because Samsung want to be in any prices range so, yes, the buyers will be confusing to choose the right one. It may risk its own models, but it is better than to give the market to other rivals.

Im sorry but complaining and criticizing is a major part of being a CUSTOMER! Never forget, if one is to spend 400-1500$ on a phone you pay workers to build it and designers to design it! I wont buy any notched or punched phone and am complaining...don't underestimate customers power...it's what ruined car-manufacturers and phone manufacturers alike. It's also what happens to LEGO right now, any maybe to samsung and apple, we will see. Just dont buy what you dont like, new phones are not any better than old phones. I switched from 8GB Ram to 4GB and nothing happened. I switched from 2 Cameras to 1 and...nothing happened, I switched from 825 to 615 and nothing happened...it's what you make out of it, dont act like anonymous here and blindly follow the mass.

Those who are complaining about punch hole are the ones who will buy this phone anyway, just like how people complain about notches in iPhones and other phones but still buy them. If you guys really have a problem with punch holes then buy FindX, Magic and Mix3 rather than complaining.
At least Samsung is trying to remove the notches and holes (it is their first iteration) Whereas companies like Apple are going to have the same big ugly notch for 3rd year in the row and you guys say that Samsung is following other companies, even when Samsung was the first company to introduce something known as punch hole (at that time nobody complained) and then other companies like Honor featured it.
Samsung is offering better cameras, a HEADPHONE JACK, bigger battery (unlike Apple's puny 2,000 mah), better displays, better audio quality ( I am talking about 32bit/384khz DAC, AKG tuned dual stereo speakers, a premium AKG earphone, Dolby Atmos and so on) and of course face scanner and industry's first ultrasonic sensor. How many companies are featuring all that?

Samsung did a GREAT job copying Apple on this.
Remember the S8 series ? regular size and + version were exact same specs
Since the S9 series, the regular size phone doesn't pack as much feature as the + versions, starting on the camera.
On the S10 series, there will be 3 versions, the true flagship with everything, the lesser version with less features, then another version even less stuffed, and at the end of the line the bare bones S10e.

F.e. for me its best from them (mainly because flat display) although i am in no need to buy a phone.
So stop complaining about everything.

Premium phones were 800 too not so long ago
But now they realise that 800 bucks was a maximum for most people.
So they release budget phone for 800 bucks.
So the budget phone is now sold at premium price, and the premium phone at luxury price.

Hiding the punched hole yet again in the promotions photos (like Apple was hiding their notch in their advertising pictures).
If it is embarrassing because it is ugly, then remove the holes and notches and find another solution.
I don't remember anyone tried to hide bezels or chines.
Just bring bezels or chines back if you can't figure a better way than holes and notches, and no curved or edged screens for the sake of show off.
