It won't kill the main S10/plus variants but really?? I mean, to answer lite versions of other manufacturers Samsung have an A lineup, and there's M and J for low-mid range... So i see two possible scenarios...
1) it will likely kill A series
2) it will be overpriced comparing to other Samsung phones, Cheaper than S10 but more expensive than A ... (Even Samsung claims that it will be for "everyone")...
So that way or another one line will be killed anyway and how it can be good for Samsung?... They basically allow Huawei to climb at 1st place since smartphone sales decline more than ever... But also risk to add too much confusion to the customers... No I'm not even fan or hater but this is just stupid... I mean profit is profit! Right? And competition is bad for them but good for us. So wake up samsung!

Galaxy S10e is surely a killer of its own S series: S8 and S9/S9+, not any phones as Galaxy S has a different league with any Chinese flagship brands.

It's not even out yet but it already feels somehow dated due to the camera hole. There's surely a lot of folks waiting a generation or two for when those things are gone.

iPhone XR at this price is NOT even Full HD :))) ! what a shame
but S10e is More than Full HD and Super Amoled.... and has more Ram and better Camera. and better in every other aspect.
It is not galaxy J or A
It is a high quality S phone

Such a shame that they did not seize the opportunity to properly exploit the chance for a lower price point. They could have kept the top bezel, left out the "premium" hole in the display. They could have then included a 3300mA or 3400mA battery, and made this a decent device. I need a better battery, more than I need a bezel less device.

Price probably won't be good enough. The big guns really need to look at their prices. The biggest/only high street retailer in UK, Car phone Warehouse, now are pushing brands like Oppo and some others. My local store had 2 new display units, the floor table ones, that had some devices rarely seen. The Honour and Oppo devices are commanding the same floor space as Samsung and Google devices. Infact, one of the tables was just having some of the panels added whilst I was in. Huawei, OnePlus, Oppo etc are really uping their game. Honestly, the Huawei, Honour, OnePlus, Oppo devices were all running units, and looked great. That findX pop up camera is slick and quick.personally, the S10e is probably the one for me, due to the great flat display. Shame about the battery size though, it is poor.
