xXENDER FREAKXx, 20 Feb 2019Reduce power consumption significantly, huh, sounds like a ... moreThe memory eats about 3% of phone total electricity. If it get reduced Lets say 20-30%, it is significan reduction in memory level... it Also means that phone total electricity usage will go down 0.6%. Not so significant. All in all you don`t see it in usage times.

I have a strong feeling that the OnePl... moreIf the 855 supports it (which is no mentioned anywhere) and Samsung's chips are ready, there is a small possibility. But i highly doubt it.
The note 10 (exynos variant) and the iphone XI are the ones with more chances tbh.

What is random access speeds like. Seems they have memory to memory DMA transfer mode. They would be best to include some programmable logic matrix and functions in the ram chip to. Memory based logic was shown to run most efficiently and fast.
Hopefully they have sorted out the hack of the previous low energy architecture, where they just kept flipping memory cells to induce neighbouring protected cells to flip, using it to gain access to system privileges. The low energy cheap design meant thee were insufficient barrier protection between cells.

Could someon... moreHi!
"16-bank programmable and multi-clock architecture reaching 51 MB/s in data transmission."
It means every of the 16 banks can reach 51 MB/s in data transmission. It means the LPDDR5 eventually reach about 800 MB/s in data transfer (16 x 51 MB/s). This is doubled score of LPDDR4, which reach about 400 MB/s.

Is it just me or this article makes no sense?
Could someone translate it to english please?
Let me point out some specifics..
- "51 MB/s in data transmission" this is unimpressive and pretty sure it's wrong considereing even the LPDDR1 were much faster than that, and LPDDR3 is currently at around 10GB/s
- "Data-Copy .. copies data from a single I/O pin to another one without transferring information to the rest". Dafuq does this mean? Why would you want to copy data from one pin to another, so you send the same data on 2 pins? why?
- "Write-X ..eliminates the need to send data from the SoC to the LPDDR5 chip when transferring the data". So .. if you did not send your data, when was the transfer happening exactly?

The last Oracle, 20 Feb 2019Samsung should start development on the DDR5 for the Note 1... moreDefinitely. Which hopefully means a few things will be ready for the note 10. So unlike the s10 the note 10 might actually have a few goodies so that we are not completely underwhelmed for what should have been a special edition year.
If not on the s10 should be on the note 10, as well as theoretically the 7nm euv should be ready for note 10. Maybe even bugs 3.0 too. And hopefully a couple other things.

Samsung should start development on the DDR5 for the Note 10 (if it is not already being being used for S10 series).
