Anonymous, 21 Feb 20191080p+ for the s10e? Wtf SamsungYes indeed... 400ppi would have been easily enough.

Why do people demand 550+ppi screens if they only manage to obliterate the battery life, again?

Anonymous, 20 Feb 2019Definitely the a chilled heel for Samsung, in their e devic... moreI might have a need for a fire hazard in my home... about that 3400 mAh S10e you were mentioning, that sounds like it would just about fit the bill...

Seriously though... instead of having people complain that phones do not have laptop-grade batteries while being below 10mm thick, how about manufacturers keeping screens below 450ppi so that there will be less need for large capacity battery. Architectures below 10nm would also be much appreciated.

xXENDER FREAKXx, 21 Feb 2019The GALAXY S10/S10+/S10e looks nice in my opinion, though I... moreI totally agree. The power button location on my S7 is in perfect location with the bottom corner of the phone resting on my palm whether held in left hand (index finger wraps around the back to rest perfectly on the button) or right hand, where thumb rests perfectly on the button.

I'm 5'-8" (which is about the average height of adult males worldwide) with average sized hands. This puts the FPS out of easy reach of roughly half of men (probably more as my hands would have to be quite a bit larger to work properly) and the vast majority of women. I'll withhold judgement until I hold one for real, but I'm perplexed by the placement.

No matter how better a smartphone company designed /manufactured their phone over previous generation but $1000 price tag is ridiculous. Anyone with right mind will wait for price drop or buy something else.
Maximum a phone should cost $500-$600 because people tend to change their phone in less time mostly in 2 years. These pricing is utter crap. I mean yeah as company you need to earn profit but this is loot. This is not a healthy business.

So, putting 32 tiny lenses over a tiny sensor, will NOT make a phone a "future of pro photography". It will just give an excuse for manufacturers to double the prices every 3 years.

It doesn't make you a cup of tea, but it does everything else. Onboard video editing. Vastly improved ani moji, great wide angle. Superb battery in the plus, less so the e, massive storage options ceramic back option. Their one ui will be sweet on these. Sincerely hope the camera performance is better. Finally upgraded front cameras, that is years overdue. A screen that beats all. Daylight viewing that is second to none. Can't night sight like a Pixel, but that is all the Pixel has, oh and stills. Odd to see a slow wired charge. Only bit I don't like is the prices £50 to high for the regulars and £100 too high for e. Oh, and the e battery capacity is lacking.

Tommy Chhangte, 21 Feb 2019No BIG changes or innovations for a 10 year anniversary pho... moreAnd by "no surprises" I don't mean it in terms of all the leaks we’ve got in the weeks leading to the announcement. I mean it in terms of comparison to other alternatives. All the added and improved features - the basic ideas were mostly taken from existing features be it other manufacturers’ or Samsung's own phones.Think ultra wide angle cameras, think reverse wireless charging, think under display FPRs (howsoever ultrasonic as it may be), think Dynamic AMOLED. Improved/added from existing features. Not boring at all, but nor surprising either.
