Only problem is they sum it all up in a single number, which can be misleading.
I believe they should not include bokeh or zoom in the categories, but just focus on image quality of the main photos.
Also the video score is completely irrelevant (they only test 1080p but mostly people will use 4k so quality will be different)

Mate 20 Pro is faraway much better !
Mate 20 Pro has big, powerful, fast 1/1,7" 40MP sensor - the best so far in a phone !
Unfortunately, S10+ has small, cheap 12MP 1/2,55 and
1/3,6 weak sensor.
Every Photographer will tell you.
* Photographer is person who takes photos with cameras, not with phones !

2) they dont test hdr
It wont have 4K HDR because exynos cant do it, just 1080p HDR

When the P20 pro score and mate 20 score was released by DXOMARK released last year. There where many negative comments against saying it's paid and all. Now when Samsung finally caught up to the score as huaweis. All are being positive saying best camera ever. So now no one is complaining saying DXOMARK is paid. Anyway p30 pro is coming in some days. Let's see if huawei surprises us again

"But in the end, the Galaxy S10 and S10+ are going to be the phones to beat in 2019 when it comes to camera performance", and they'll easily be beaten since the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and P20 Pro are the company's flagships for 2018, Huawei's 2019 flagships will wipe the floor with the Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+

This whole google Android group providing phone in every budget is just a big planned network and you've no idea what do they want to do in future after making fool of you all... I won't explain much, iPhones are overpriced but I will repeat, save yourself from a big mission and get an iPhone...

Points are hardly defining, they are different in bayer, pixel and senzor size, color spectrum, aperture,...
In view 20 ultra clarity processing get rid of bayer deformations and bring detail like huawei's 20mp monochrome camera, but still wont create better colors for it got small pixels.
Pixels in phones were never big, as compared to cameras, could as well use different tech to overcome that, never liked small "painting" like resolutions anyway.
Samsung perfected camera sw, but many may envy those new hi res big sized hw.
Though whole package is important, huawei is getting close to sony's half year upgrade cycle so s10 may be falling behind soon.
